What is SEO
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization, it is a way for search engines such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, and others to read keywords from your website in the backend to relate them to keywords that people are searching for.
For example: If you were to search for "marketing company near me," the search engine (e.g Google) will take your location and the keywords "marketing" & "company" and search through the submitted SEO from various websites to give you the best and closest results. This is a good example of location and service supply,
Another good example would be as follows: You search "Website design at affordable rates" what the search engine (e.g Google) will do is search through its records of submitted SEO from various websites that specify the keywords "website design" & "affordable rates". It will also look at the number of times these keywords are listed and then supply you with pages of results. The top results have had the search engine scan the submitted keywords and will be pushed to the top via relevance to your keywords searched.
SEO backend doesn't work overnight as the search engines need to receive the submitted SEO keywords for the website and verify that the website does actually have those relevant keywords within each page they are specified in. It is a great way to make your brand or company's way to the top of Google etc without paying expensive fees as it is built into the website and your diligent Puffery designer will ensure that it is submitted to all major search engines.
It's not just keywords it is also the amount of social links to stronger sites within your website, such as links to your Facebook page or LinkedIn page. The search engines look carefully at each link within your site to see relevance to the users search.
